We tend to focus an awful lot on nerves, anxiety, and how our body freaks out on us under pressure. More important, however, is our ability to focus. Peak performances are the result of being truly locked in on the task at hand, and completely immersed in the moment. Not only will this help you perform up to your potential, but it’s a great feeling to perform in this state. Being focused is what can make performing (even auditioning) fun again.
In this lesson, you’ll be presented with a buffet of strategies for optimizing your focus during performances. You will use several exercises to develop much greater attentional control, and learn how to get into – and stay in – the right state of mind for peak performance.
